Welcome to Chesterfield Biogas

Chesterfield BioGas was established to provide turnkey solutions for the cleaning, storage and dispensing of biomethane,
produced from waste water treatment and anaerobic digestion of organic waste.

Chesterfield Biogas, is a new and growing division of Chesterfield Special Cylinders Ltd – a company long established since
1897, boasting over a century of manufacturing and service expertise in the high pressure gas containment industry.

We were formed in November 2008 and the signing of a co-operation agreement with Greenlane® Biogas Limited, the world
leader in the upgrading of raw biogas to Biomethane followed in March 2009.

Our partnership with Greenlane Biogas Ltd gives us access to the experience of a company which has been involved from the
earliest stages of technological development of the processing and upgrading of raw biogas into biomethane.
The working relationship between us is already well established, having been associated on several projects, in Scandinavia,
where, for example Stockholm’s buses run almost entirely on biomethane!

Together we will deliver a low-risk, tried and tested biogas-to-biomethane upgrading solution - a very effective and successful
system which is both efficient and environmentally friendly.

Pressure Technologies is the holding company for Chesterfield Special Cylinders (“CSC”) and Chesterfield BioGas (“CBG”).
CSC designs, manufactures and offers retesting and refurbishment services for a range of speciality high pressure, seamless
steel gas cylinders for global energy and defence markets. The business has been conducted under the “Chesterfield” brand
which is a long established name in the cylinders and specialised pressure vessel market.
